Day 2
I played two games today, before I drove back down to Los Angeles. I won both games rather easily. At first, I thought I"d blog about how the games were, but I think that might get kinda boring. The first one, I played Terran and won with a medivac drop. The second game I was Protoss and just a lot of gateway units. I did use Day[9]'s strategy, though, and upgraded armor first. It seems to work...

It seems to work well when playing against Terran.
I just checked their ratings, and they were rated Silver 21 and Silver 2. I actually fell in ranking, to Bronze 2. Apparently someone else in my division played a lot of games while I was driving down south. He's one point ahead of me. I'm almost 100 points ahead of 3rd place, though.
When I logged in to check my opponents' rankings, I saw that my old college roommate was online. He got StarCraft 2 for Christmas and started playing online. I think it'd be cool to start playing with him, too.
Hopefully I'll keep winning 1v1 (6 straight wins so far) and will get promoted to Silver. We'll see.
