Oh Apple, why won't you just take my money?

I love all of Apple's products, I don't care that there really expensive I just really do love them. I think it must be the simple and clean approach they have to there products, and the fact that there quite good looking machines. I have an iPod Shuffle and an iPhone 3GS, by the end of this year I also hope to have an iPad, the iPhone 5 and if possible a Macbook. This weekend I had my mind set...
This weekend I had my mind set on getting an iMac, I've been hyping myself up for it all week and have been watching lots of videos on Youtube about the iMac and reading up on the software and hardware. I read on there website that you can pay a monthly fee for 2 years, I currently do not have enough money to buy it outright sadly which is how I got my iPhone. So I set off with my dad to the nearest Apple shop, which was like an hours drive away.
So this was my first time in an Apple shop, gotta say very busy but the staff are very friendly and imformative. I had this guy showing me the iMac for a good 30 minutes, he showed me all the features and the specs and so forth. At the very end when I told him I wanted it he told me you can only go the finance route online and to get one in the store you have to buy it outright. Now this just seems insanse to me, Apple are refusing to take my money in a place which seems more sensible for this type of payment method. I'll need to talk to sombody on the phone anyway to help set this up I do belive so I don't see why they can't do this in stores. There was also no mention of this just being an online only feature on the website, it was also annyoying traveling all that way only to come home empty handed.
I'm ordering it later today, but still I'll have to wait till Monday at the least and by that time I will be back to work and have to wait untill Friday to get a good playing around with it. So yeah quite frustrating, oh well, I made sure I had nothing going on this weekend so I could spend the time on my iMac, so I now have a free weekend. I'll delve into my backlog and probbaly play either Deadly Premonition or Dark Void...
