The week is coming to a close only tommorow left and I'm scott free to bask in the game that is L.A Noir, until then however I wanted to atleast complete one of my two games that I have on the go. Those two games are Mass Effect 2 and Banjo-Kazooie: Nuts and Bolts, now It was really not even a question, I could NOT beat Mass Effect 2 before the weekend, I enjoy all the side missions to much for...
The week is coming to a close only tommorow left and I'm scott free to bask in the game that is L.A Noir, until then however I wanted to atleast complete one of my two games that I have on the go. Those two games are Mass Effect 2 and Banjo-Kazooie: Nuts and Bolts, now It was really not even a question, I could NOT beat Mass Effect 2 before the weekend, I enjoy all the side missions to much for me to just skip them. So I ended up buckling down and going with Nuts and Bolts, I was really struggaling getting the last few Jiggies (75) to unlock Spiral Mountain which was the last world, so I had a cool plan. I went and spent just under two hours building and constructing the perfect veichle for almost every situation, cars, boats, planes, helicopters, gyrocopters, fire trucks, tanks, trains, taxi's you name it I had it. This proved very helpfull and allowed me to easily collect enough Jiggies to enter Spiral Mountain, and then I well beat the game :)
The last battle didn't prove that difficult, I did spend about an hour or so trying to beat Gruntilda but I managed to do it in the end, the trick is lots of homing missles and clockwork Kazooie eggs. The ending really ironically leave the game open to a sequal, they give you your moves back and Gruntilda is left in a video game factory where she is secretly building hatching a new plot. But as I said it's ironic because I do not belive we will ever see Banjo and Kazooie again, we are more likely to have a new Crash Bandicoot game before we ever see a Banjo Game. Which is a shame because this was a really good game, I have on multiple occasions tried to get into Nuts and Bolts and failed each and every time. I just couldn't understand why anybody would like it, I suppose I was one of the people who just wanted a classic Banjo-Kazooie game and was annyoyed that this wasn't. Now after beating it I am happy this game was made, I would have prefered a 3D platformer still but this game is still a fantastic game. Easily the best game exclusive Xbox game, the amount of time I sank into that game really is incredable.
PS3's online services returned, well some of them anyway, I played some Black Ops to test it out last weekend and it was a blast to go and beat a bunch of people online. I didn't want to play to much Black Ops, I'm clean now you see and do not wish to go down that dark road again. I then discovered that my Mortal Kombat "Kode" expiered, which really did piss me off so much. I really wanted to play that game online, I even tried to do the free 2 day trial thing but every time I tried to log in there ere connection issues and game issues. Thats gone now to now so I didn't even get to play that, my only other option would be to pay £10 to play it online, and FUCK THAT! This game came out the same day (or mabey even after) the PSN went down in the UK, so I never entered my online kode and I just stuck to the story mode and finished that up. I was never really interested in the challenge tower so I was pretty much done with it till the online was up, and I really wanted to play it online so bad and show off my skills! However my feeling now is I really don't want to pay the money to play online, the sad part is that even if it was free I think the time for this has all passed. To much time has gone on and my passion to play it online has finished, which is a real shame because I'm sure it would have been great.
Oh and looking for a bad movie? I tottaly reccomend Swamp Shark, it has to be the best worst movie I have ever seen, everything about this movie just screems fantasticly bad. I won't blabber on and on about it (Belive me I could) but I'll leave you with the trailer, the movie is just that but for 90 miniutes.
