Welcome to May Millennials 2019!

Take out some avocado toast and LaCroix from the fridge and get ready to kill some industries because this year May's goin' Millennial!
To be specific and to add a little context, every May I embark on some massive month-long spring cleaning ritual in one area of my backlog. For years I've been giving May over to older games - as it's traditionally a quiet month for new releases - that's meant going through my Steam libraries and taking a chance on the many Indies that had been building up in there; a process that has now been supplanted by my regular Indie Game of the Week column. Since starting IGotW, I've shifted to older big-budget PC games I've always wanted to play but never did: in 2017 and 2018 that was exclusively graphic adventure games and RPGs from the 1990s. This year, however, I'm moving ahead to the early '00s: no real reason beyond wanting a change of pace and an excuse to tackle some slightly more recent backlog items of mine. Besides, I was running out of unplayed '90s PC games I was all that enthused about, barring a few outstanding exceptions.
The format and schedule of May Millennials won't be all too different from '17/'18's May Maturity:
- Each game will have an "Intro" blog entry, which details my early impressions a few hours into the game, and an "Outro" blog entry where I provide a full post-game review (or, in some cases, why I chose to abandon the playthrough).
- These blogs will be a maximum of one week apart, and each Outro will be followed by the next game's Intro either later the same day or the one immediately following it.
Ideally, I'll be able to complete at least four games before May is through, but I have at least six planned just in case (with a couple in reserve if I really power through the others). They're all going to be CRPGs or CRPG-adjacent too, fair warning. I have a type after all.
[2020 Edit: May Millennials continue for another year! 5-8 on the following table are those added in 2020, where 1-4 are the original 2019 entries.]
[2021 Edit: Hey, same deal again, just for 9-12. I'll run out of turn-of-the-century games for this feature, but not this year.]
