i used to be totally into Runescape, i got to like level 80 or some shit, played with good friends of mine, one who happens to be on this site and i had a bunch of Rune helms and swords, among all sorts of useless stuff that i always gave to lower leveled players because i was a boss like that. this was about 5-6 years ago that i quit playing Runescape because i realized that everything new was for Members only, and i didn't even want to pay for that stuff. so i stopped playing, and eventually gave my account away because i didn't want that account tied to me in any way.
after that, i periodically went on with some dumb account name like BigPapa69 or WaterJugz2 or i don't know, something like WeedDude420 just to go around and cause trouble. it became a pass time of the group of us that used to play Runescape, which is yeah, kinda sad, but we had fun!
like i said, i gave that account away, but here we are, years later and the account i thought i left behind came back to haunt me. check this email they sent me:
this is WEIRD. i gave that account away to some dude my bro knew years ago, and i get an email now saying this, IN THE YEAR 2011. this makes me wonder what happened to my account. Real World Trading? what the hell is even going on? is it possible that my account is in some ridiculous Runescape account trade ring? i remember getting interested in Runescape again and asking the dude i gave it to if i could have the password for it, and he said he gave it away and thinking to myself WHAT IS GOING ON?

when i was on one of my retarded accounts, i added my old account. Cheeso50 was it's name. i don't know why i named it that, but i'm sure it was from some dumb in-joke TehFedro and i had at the time. anyway, i added it and.. it was online? this was like, 3 years after i gave it away and it's still active. i got everyone i could from the old group on to message this guy so we could find out who he was, but we never ended up getting a response, and Cheeso50 disappeared into the mist forever. i haven't seen him since, but then again, i don't remember adding him in anything since.
wow, that's enough of my RuneScape history. when i got this email, i thought it was Cheeso50, and wondered why that account is still going around. at the same time, though, i wasn't sure which account it was referring to BECAUSE IT DIDN'T SPECIFY WHICH ONE IT WAS. being me, which is being curious, i decided to check out all the accounts i remember that were tied to my email address. i only remembered two, and one had three offenses. now, what's great about this is that it shows you the evidence that Jagex gathered to come to the conclusion that i broke one of their rules.
let's see here..
the two offensive language offensives seem fine. i mean, all i did on that account was go around and swear at people and having people walk up to me and saying "Reported." i'm curious as to what evidence they have. you can take a look at 'em if you wish. i'll probably link them at the bottom of this blog or something. now, i think i'm going to go on RuneScape and see what even happened to that character.

so i'm a lv. 31 dude with full Steel (or iron? i didn't check) armor with a mith long sword and a badass cape. how did this even happen on an account that i used to around and troll with? not even Fedro knows. was there some sort of guy who knew my password and used it to go on and level me up? fuck. i'm going to go play RuneScape.
TL;DR: don't give your account away. it WILL come back to haunt you.
