Welcome Parker William

I haven't been on the last couple days mostly because my first son was born, Parker William was born on January 21st, 2010 at 10:42 am weighing in at 8lbs 3 oz. and coming it at 21.5 cm long.  Baby and mother are doing fine.   This little series is great my lucky number being 21, I was born on the 21st, got my first driver's licence, was confirmed into my church on the 21st,  21 is a blackjack, two 21's make 42 which is the answer to the life universe and everything. So its a pretty big number for lil ol' me and i'm glad that he was born on a 21.
 
 I'm reporting live from Mom's room here at the hospital and we're looking really good. Parker goes home with is mother tomorrow and I'll be happy not to have to drive to a hospital to see my progeny.  
 
As for papa gifts, I bought the little guy a teddy bear that turns out to be way too old for the little guy and 2 comic books, a Tiny Titans book and an Amazing Spiderman book. While I've never been huge into comics its something I'd like to do with my kid. I picked the books because of age and the Spiderman because his name is Parker. We'll try to name the next "safe" teddy bear Peter.  
 
Amazingly, I'm recovering from the process slept alot drove alot and worried alot through a 36 hour labor process then we learned how to change a diaper and the like.
