This shit again

According to the Twitter account of  Dan Hsu formally of 1up and currently of Bitmob, an undisclosed website has taken down its review of Fallout New Vegas due to dissatisfaction from Publisher Bethesda with the review.  This was against the wishes of the writer the boss of the site pulled a review.  Apparently due to pressure from Bethesda the review will be pulled until the ad campaign for the game runs its course, Hsu also notes two other sites are holding off the review.
 
Here's the problem Bethesda,  you put the game out there and you need to let it stand on its own merits or not. Currently (9:30 pm est on 10/20) the metacritic review sits at  85 based on 35 reviews, that's pretty fucking good for a follow up that was one of the better games in recent memory. Bethesda felt the score too low and had the CEO of the site pull the copy. You don't have the right to cry to Mommy when the review doesn't break your way.], your shit didn't impress this guy and that site pays this guy to write those reviews.
 
The biggest victim of this kind of thing  was  Giantbomb's Jeff  Gerstmann  who was released from Gamestop just after a poor review of Kane and Lynch was released. The way it appeared to the outsider is that Jeff  was fired after giving a poor review to a game promoted heavily on their site. The fact of the matter was that in that case, just like here, these guys are doing their job and someone didn't like what they had to say, I get the whole losing money thing but sometimes you have to let your baby bird go free.
