Long damned weekend.

Wow that was a long one. It was a crazy long weekend between work, photo shoot for my kid from a good friend.   
 
This weekend my roommate and I picked up Command and Conquer Red Alert 3 for $8 I'm going through the tutorial for days because I've been way too sleepy when I get free time so I just like 5 minutes ago. So i'm starting up with the first campaign there.  Its great to have Tim Curry giving me orders a little bit bad ass. I mean its a game that involves Time Traveling Soviets, that's win freakin win baby. 
 
Plan tonight, kick it with C and C RE3 and get some rest. Now I get to wait for a few days to see if I get my new job. 
 
Also very pleased at the fact that my roommate and our friends all picked up Borderlands, with the boxed version of the DLC out in stores now, may have to run over and pick it up.  
 
In other aquisition news, the hardcover and new Penny Arcade book is shipping to my doorstep from Amazon. I'm a huge PA fan, love Gabe's art style and Tycho's words are great, not to mention the amount of love I have for the Child's Play charity. I see it not just as a great thing, but a great thing done by a group of  people who care and compared to other charities may not do much, as a parent I'm glad my little boy will at least have some kind of childhood if something happens to our family.
