Happy new year, here's something wrong with your stomach...

Yes my improptu New Years Resolution was to survive the alien like syptoms that assaulted me on New Years Eve until now. A couple of sick days later and i'm back on my feet at work. 
 
During my sabbatical I was able to wrap up Mass Effect again with saving the council getting the girl and all the stuff I wanted my Shepard to have experienced for the new game. Again for me this game is still very very good, Bioware can whip them up a mean game when they like and this does not disappoint. Aside from the random places where I was killed by a rocket when I couldn't leave cover when I needed to and the obligatory random-ass Shepardicide and had to start a planet all over again because I haven't been saving every 30 seconds while exploring new planets.  
  
As for Call of Duty my days off (between dealing with the occasional lunch mishap) I have been able to get closer and closer to that ever elusive prestige. While I don't plan on going past the 1st prestige, I would like to get this over with.  
 
Borderlands is dominating my disk drive much to my delight. i've abandoned the thought of this character (my hunter named Duck) ever going online until he's all grown up to 50 so he can play with the big boys. I'm crusing along at 26 most of the way to 27 and I'm in New Haven. I have discovered there is a lack of weapons that drop fire damage later in the game, maybe its just my experience but it would be helpful against the bandits and the like.
