How to quit smoking PT. 18
by singular
Yep, it's me and my silly blog about how to quit smoking again. I'm back on track counting 22 smoke free days and still going strong. I finally got really used to the feeling of saying "No, thanks." if someone offers me a cigarette. Games? What games? Oh, the ones I've been playing? Well, since I really don't have much time between sleep, eat, work, wife and friends I don't play that much. But...

Games? What games? Oh, the ones I've been playing? Well, since I really don't have much time between sleep, eat, work, wife and friends I don't play that much. But I do once in a while. But I have to "admit" that I don't play any current games because, well I have this huge library of old PC games and never have played most of them and I'm cheap ^^. I also have several old consoles rotting away in my basement and two of them are rotting in my living room. And because I don't want to hook up that old stuff every time I want to play a game of my past childhood I emulate. That being said, I can say that I am currently playing Chrono Trigger which I emulate on my PSP, some Star Craft and some Counterstrike. I also still play Pool of Radiance. For the latter I have to say that game is mad hard. Every time you meet an enemy the games switches into a turn based battle mode. The first few battles play similar like eastern stile rpg's. But after that the enemys get a lot tougher and you need to use the abilities of you party members in a real tactical way or lose. Needles to say I had a lot of saving and reloading to do until I figured that one out. But all in all my gaming time is about 10 hours a week. And since I don't like playing casual games, it takes me months to finish a game.
Another thing. Having my real called out over the Internet on the Star Craft 2 live stream really got me thinking. At first I felt shocked and revealed. But then I thought about how stupid it is to feel that way. I mean, my name is my name. I'm using my real name on the social site I'm on. When I send e-mail it's with my real name, heck even my e-mail address is my real name. I don't know where this Internet thing of being super incognito comes from. But using a pseudonym sure takes a lot of credibility away from ones posts and comments. I started using a pseudonym as username because everyone else seemed to do so. But I actually have nothing to hide. I usually treat people with respect in real life and on the net and if I behave like a dick, I'm man enough to stand up for it. So I really don't know why I have a Internet pseudo other then the fact that it's just a running along thing. Comments on this would be very nice.
Well, I have nothing more to say in this blog post so I leave you until the next one. Take care and have fun gaming :)
