I've been playing a lot of FIFA over the years, and the last couple of 'em, I've also been gathering some experience with Pro Evolution Soccer. I've pretty much ignored the marketing campaign for both games (because looking at trailers or dev interviews is something that bores me immensely, with their slanted and PR-manipulated views on the game), but I'll always jump at a chance to play the de...

So, fuck. The eject button on my 360 is broken, so I had to send it in for repairs. I had called up customer support last night, and was helped by a friendly Dutch employee. Things were going more smoothly than I had expected them to; customer support was more of a pain to navigate back when my Box red-lighted on me. But today, I get home from school, and I hear that a UPS dude has already come...

So I've been toying with this Fallout 3 DLC content in my mind for the past few days now, and I'm not sure what I'm going to do. The content will be cut in price during the week of March 22nd ( as was announced by Major Nelson ), which means that if I'm ever going to buy DLC for Fallout 3, I should do it during that week. Thing is, the five packs amount to a total of 2000 MSP. A single points c...

As the topic title states, I enjoy writing reviews of the games I play. I'm getting better at it too. As someone who does not have English as his native language, I grapple with the language every day, though it is, of course, ever improving. And so as well with my reviews: I've come a long way from this review to this review. But there is still a lot of room left for improvement. So I'd like y...

This is my fourth "gaming goals" blog. I was bored today, and felt like finally making a comprehensive list of stuff I wanted to get done in my games. It's a pretty damn long list, but I've got time. Provided I don't get hit by a bus tomorrow, I should be able to finish by the time I'm in my forties. The "Franchise Goals" - I intend to do a full run-through of all the franchises I own every mai...

When Giantbomb.com launched in the summer of 2008, its staff members were immediately flooded by enormous amounts of wiki edits. There are a lot of games out there, and plenty of information regarding those games in our heads. I joined in as well, adding information to games (although, really, only the ones that I knew a lot about.) Thing is, around the 5000 point mark, I sort of lost interest....

I downloaded and tried out the Dark Void demo today. I had heard good things about the game, the premise seemed interesting and the whole jetpack thing cool. However, if the quality of the demo is anything to go by, this game is not good. Not good at all. The flying controls are terrible. In a game where the jetpack is the main draw, that's bad. The demo started off rather awkwardly, with this...

I did two blogs on my gaming goals in 2008, but when I looked back at them, I noticed that I hadn't really fulfilled any of the goals on there, and more had joined the fray. So I'm gonna compile a new list. Here goes. Beat every game in my backlog . Right now, the list contains the following games: Splosion man , Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell , Knights of the Old Republic II: The Sith Lords , Cond...

I just came back from a pretty lengthy session of the FIFA10 demo, so I thought I should write up my thoughts on it. I'm a pretty big FIFA fan, but I have not bought FIFA09. I've decided to buy a footy game every two years, so that the additions to those games aren't too small. With two years between both games, there are quite a few differences. Man United is not present in the demo, despite t...

I love writing reviews. I've picked up the habit of writing a review for a game after completing it for the first time. I don't think I'll ever turn into a professional review writer (though the Giantbomb crew makes it look as though it's really fun) but I still want my reviews to have some quality to them. The point of this blog; I want to find others who like writing user reviews. If you're i...

I can't decide which of these games to pick up. Both would cost me the same amount of money, and both seem to have really fun gameplay. But picking up both would seem like serious overkill, so I need to choose one. Problem is, I can't. So I'd like you to do it for me. Please tell me which of these you prefer. I have played a lot of FIFA games, but the only experience I have with PES games is th...

So I just wrote up a pretty nice Dead Space review, if I do say so myself. It was all finished up, and I was editing in the screenshots with captions. However, just as I click on the last pic to caption it, Firefox randomly decides to crash. No biggie, I thought to myself, as I restored my previous session. I'd had this happen before, and I had the text copied incase something would go wrong. H...

Yeah, I know, I know. You've all played Dead Space, and most of you probably loved it. I'm currently playing through it on Normal, and am loving it so much. The game doesn't really scare me at all, I didn't even so much as blink when the tentacle suddenly grabbed me, for instance, but it does keep me on my toes. I have little to say, but if you haven't played Dead Space, start doing it right now!

How will I ever manage to get all these games while awesome new ones are announced almost daily. :( I'll never catch up.

I've written around 20 reviews, but after the site redesign, some of them are no longer present. They are still present on the page of their respective games, but I'd like to be able to access them directly from my profile, as I wish to edit them and frankly, I've forgotten which reviews I've written. Is this something I should just wait for?

I felt like writing a blog for the first time in like, forever. A lot of shit has happened in my life that had me hitting a tiny depression, but enough about that. What I want to talk about in this blog is awesome video game moments, aspects or modes. Resident Evil 4 - The Village I like Resident Evil 4, and am looking forward to Resident Evil 5. However, one gameplay sequence has always stuck...

I've been thinking a lot about all kinds of stuff lately, and so I feel my mind is a bit cluttered. Therefore, I'm now going to type out my thoughts related on gaming so I can at least have those leave my brain. First off: a complete list of goals I have - subconsciously or consciously - set myself. Complete the following games: Shinobi , Onimusha: Dawn of Dreams , Condemned , Killer7 , FFXII a...

So I was doing some meditating on my gaming habits, and I realised I'm obsessed about it. I have alot of games (at least, at 14 years old I have a lot of them) but no matter how many I have, I always have my sights set on new purchases. I'll show you my wishlist. I only have a 360 and PS2 at this point. http://www.gamespot.com/users/thedevil1/games_table?mode=want I have a 60 game wishlist, and...

I've written three reviews with pictures, GoWII, Burnout Paradise and Banjo Kazooie. Please read them and then provide me with pointers to improve my future reviews. I need some help, because I quite realize these reviews suck lol.

I'm kinda bored right now, so I've decided to write a new blog. Anyway, despite most people voting on Fallout 3 in my last blog, I got Gears 2, mostly because my XBL friends wanted me to play with them. It turned out to be a good choice, because I love the game. I've already beaten it on Insane, and I thought I had beaten the entire game on co-op, but it turns out I haven't. Being somewhat of a...

Right, a mountain of awesome new games have come out these past weeks, and at this point, I'm forced to make a choice. I can only afford one full price retail game at a time, and I'm gonna post a list of games that I must pick from. I'd like all of you to vote for a single game, and the next time I go to the store in a week or two, I'll buy whatever got the most votes. Vote on one of these: Ban...

So I just crossed the 1000 point mark, it was really easy, just make one or two big submissions and your in. :p Anyway, I just felt like letting you know.

So I just went out to buy a new game for this week (vacation, yay) and after having a hard time deciding whether to get Fable or Saints Row 2, I went with SR2. I also noticed Burnout Paradise for 10 euros and decided I couldn't pass up the opportunity, so now I have two awesome games to play. I won't spend a lot of time discussing them, but SR2 feels familiar, but really fun so far. I love John...

So I've just finished up Burnout revenge and Forza Motorsport 2. Both are at the opposite ends of the genre, and I've had fun with both. I wrote reviews for them as well. Check them out if you wish. Anyway, just looking at the absolute avalanche of quality games that are coming out makes me cry and check my pockets whether I can't find some more money. I now have to make a choise about which ga...

I've decided to make a list of the things I want to do/complete in my games. Finish Metal Gear and Metal Gear 2: Solid Snake Finish the 15 years of manager mode in Fifa 08 Finish Devil May Cry on the Hard difficulty Beat all the games I have yet to beat 5 star all the Hard songs in GHII and GHIII That's just about all I can think of right now.

So I've been sick at home today, and I'll have to stay home for the next two days. Anyways, I completed God Hand. It was a really fun game, I wrote a review about it, although the final boss sucked ass. Now I have to decide what other game I haven't completed yet to play for the remainder of my sick days. If you have any suggestions, please tell me. :) (The other games are in my previous blog p...

So I went back to school this week, and I reckon this will be a really shitty year. We have some of the worst teachers you'll ever meet, they're totally insane and don't know how to handle a class at all. >_> I don't really have much of a choice, I'll just have to suffer through this year, and hope things will be better next year. I've been playing some games too, I got God Hand, Final Fantasy...

I just bought Manhunt, and although you can definitely see the traces of the GTA engine (especially if you want to look around and you can only do it in first person, I hated that in GTA vice city and I still hate it here), stalking dudes and taking them out in gruesome ways is pretty fun. The gunplay feels really weak though, and it appears the game wants me to start leaning more towards takin...

Hey guys, I just came back my vacation in Italy. Toscana is beautifull, and I had a really great time there. But now I'm ready to get back to regular life. I'm wondering whether to buy Too Human. The demo seemed fun, but I can imagine getting bored with it before the end of the game. I bought the Darkness though, it's really awesome so far. Anyone else played it?

So I've been away from GB and the internet in general for a couple of days, went out with some friends, and we went and see The Dark Knight. All the praise I had heard about the movie before I saw it could not prepare me for this brilliant film. Heath Ledger really is the ultimate Joker, he really, really shined in TDK. I'm also so glad Holmes no longer portrayed Rachel Dawes, I've hated Holmes...

Today was an awesome day, for a number of reasons. I played a lot of MGS3: Subsistance, which is an awesome game. I went to a movie with my new girlfriend, and it was a succes. A couple of my submissions got approved, which earned me 18 points, bringing my total to 22. ZOMG, I'm only 15,563 away from Jossepie. XD One of my things got rejected though, because I made a mistake. Oh well. The sun w...

I currently have a humongous wishlist of games to buy, but most of all I want MGS on PSX! Somehow, I'm incredibly hyped for MGS4 as well and I don't have a PS3. >_> That aside though, I've been going around the site looking for stuff to add, and I have quite the queue waited to approved (disapproved?), which will hopefully boost mah pointzscorez a bit. It's quite addicting really, this site. I'...

I'm an Opera user, and I detest using internet explorer just to be able to edit this awesome site. C'mon GB, could you please make the editing compatible with Opera? I would very much appreciate it. :). I'm seeing stuff I could edit all over the place, but now I really can't without sitting through loading it with IE, which for some reason is a lot slower than Opera, and so I really haven't edi...

I've been messing around with the site alot, I wanted to list my entire collection of games, but halfway through I got tired of it and deleted the entire list, lol. Anyway, the site is awesome, but I found out you can't edit the site if you are an Opera user. Please guys, fix this asap, because I hate using IE, it just feels so clunky to me. I still haven't quite figured the entire editing thin...

I feel like starting a blog, I've never written one, and I'm not sure anyone will care, but I just feel like it. Anyway, I'm currently playing Forza 2 and Oni: DoD mostly, I'm trying to finish Onimusha, but I'm just not a big fan of its combat engine. Meh, I'll finish it anyway. I've got a lot of games to finish, though I'm hoping to get a lot of those done in the time off from school I have ri...
