Dead Space!

Well, if you don't know already, I'm not a big fan of horror games, mainly because I tend to get jumpy when I play horror games. Its less of a problem when I'm playing on consoles, when I'm 3-4 meters away from the tv. But it is a problem when I play on my PC. I played Bioshock on my PC, with headsets that blocked out all other noise, and I had the volume up a bit too much. Lets just say, that...

I also tend to "Spray 'n Pray" when it comes to shooters. Thats how I was never able to beat that boss in RE4, I guess its just that feeling you get that there's got to be something just behind that next corner, just waiting to jump you, and when it finally does happen, it's usually some big, butt-ugly thing with tentacles and 5-inch fangs. So what does someone like me do? Unload 3 whole mags of lead into what would've been it's face if my aim wasn't so twitchy. Now, you may be wondering what Dead Space has to do with this blog. Well, today I watched those animated videos, and I must say, I'm intrigued. But this is just the kind of game that would make me jump a mile-high out of my seat whenever something jumps at me. I've seen some gameplay videos, and I did jump at some points, and the dark, creepy corridors are just what would scare the shit out of me. But still, I'm intrigued. Too bad I can't rent games where I live, or else I would've definetly rented this game.
I guess thats all right now. Later!
