Currently:
- Dabbling still on my COD2 (PC) Veteran run. Almost 3/4s through the British campaign. The tank levels, surprisingly, are easy when you know what you're doing.
- Finished Uncharted on Normal. The last few chapters are a total bitch. After that, I've been picking at various medals/trophies. The only ones I haven't gotten are Dyno-Might! (Three enemies with one explosive), the five-in-a-row Dyno-Might!, Grenade Hanger (Ten enemies with a grenade while perched on a ledge) and beating the game on both Hard and Crushing. If Normal gave me a hard time, Hard would drive me nuts. Perhaps for another time.
- Decided to start another Naughty Dog game, and one I've had for over a year and haven't touched 'til now: Jak & Daxter. Man, this game definitely takes several pages from Mario 64's playbook. Not like that's a bad thing, the last platformer I played was Ratchet & Clank, and that barely qualifies as one. That reminds me, I gotta pick up Going Commando so I can continue going through the series in order. Back to J&D. I'm saddened that the story of Daxter was very uneventful and disappointing. I was expecting some bizarre crazy story on how Daxter suddenly met Jak. And all it is was Daxter was once human and stupidly fell into some dark goo pit? Fuckin' weak. Although this game oddly references the PSP spinoff game beforehand, as there are loads of similarities between them. Vehicle segments are still a pain in the ass like that game, though. Why oh why is it that games must have vehicles that behave like they're on ice? Uncharted had this problem as well.
And sadly, my website is down. It appears the deep13.org domain that my site was on had lapsed up, and right now is up for grabs. Which means that again, I'm siteless. Oh well, I think it's about time I let go of the website anyway. It never had anything interesting outside of reviews and written works, and if all else fails, I can slap them up here on this site or open up a blogspot or wordpress blog and start writing shit there. Or use my constantly dormant livejournal.
Other than that, not much else. One of these days I'll start doing something productive. Maybe after summer's over.
