End of Arbitrarygelion

I've been writing dumb bullshit on this website since I was sixteen years old, literally half my lifetime ago, and this year was the year where I decided I wanted to be a little more regular with that. That didn't end up being the case, although you can be sure that I'll finish my Mid-Budget Action-JRPG write ups once things in my personal life have calmed down a bit. Unfortunately, given the state of this webzone, I will not be posting them here anymore. I think the last couple near-death experiences for Giant Bomb led to all the mourning I felt like I needed to do, but even then seeing it happen for real this time has been a rough experience.

I feel no need to do any sort of elaborate goodbye post, because if you've stuck around long enough to follow my bullshit, you're probably capable of following me to various discords, my twitch channel, or Deep Listens. Once I get another writing solution set up and ready to go, you can likely find a link to it on one of those places. Fuck man, maybe I'll make a bluesky too if I'm really serious about endless self-promotion. This is a hobby and an outlet, so don't expect things to suddenly become more regular, but I'm going to keep writing shit whether or not anyone reads it.

That said, I'm very thankful people still read my stuff even after the forums basically died, all of the original staff left, and the internet in general became a bad place for written words (also a bad place in general.) If you've enjoyed my write ups on weird and obscure and probably dubious video games over the years, thank you. Duder, it's over. <>
