I seriously need to start investigating time on games
This whole school year is nuts, I cannot comprehend how much homework there is in this semester and how I constantly am lazy to do all of it. Seriously. The Endurance Runs and Quick Looks are the only thing related to video games that is entertaining me now. This year is going to be awesome with new releases coming in and out and I'm still procrastinating on my homework and especially watching tons of films that I simply review after - its a mindfuck kind of a year where I simply am not passionate about doing anything than any other years. Although, there are some games that I had invested my time upon....
Rejection or Admire
Being a busy person that I am, doing such and such, - I decided to go to my Gaming room to try to compensate how I'm bored all the time and where out of the sudden a pile of games appeared on my catalog. I was suddenly excited and pumped and upon looking at my catalog, I saw;
Halo 3
Alien vs Predator
Final Fantasy XIII
Ninja Blade
Mass Effect 2
Ninja Gaiden 2
I realized that there are only two games in that catalog that I was excited for - Mass Effect 2 and Halo 3. That reason is that I haven't played the first one and seeing that the first one could import your character into the second one, it makes the whole experience between those two more satisfying and fun to see how you progress through the storyline of Mass Effect lore. Although, I haven't played the first one because of someone screwing me over by buying Stranglehold than Mass Effect and being pissed and decided to not play it but it still would be overkill if I would purchase the first one and play it. Anyways, my impressions of that game is totally in love.
Fight For The Lost Everything from the epic cutscenes, lovable characters, astounding storyling, improved gameplay and tons of awesome tibits - Mass Effect 2 is undoubtedly my Game of the Year, regardless of any awesome games coming out in the future of 010. Every moment in that game is enjoyable, I never was bored out of my mind glazing the galaxy and scanning the planets. That's the flaw in the first game, as told by sources even though this scanning feature is somewhat boring due to the slow process on getting materials but nevertheless its better because there aren't loading screens on transitioning from planet to planet. In the end of my playthrough, I had invested an amount of time scanning planets and purchasing upgrades and the like. Sometimes it pisses me off to see that I couldn't find Element Zero to upgrade things like Moridin's tech improvement but finding more planets out of the solar system, is making me a fortune one purchasing upgrades like mad.
Other than that, the opening sequence of that game is simply awesome like the rest of the game - its a spoiler but a minor one where it feels like it accomplishes something for a breathtaking opening. This is the only thing I'm going to say, plus the fact that the customization of your character is like the opening of Fallout 3 - where you get to decide what you character will look like and what class - my first playthrough, I decided to choose the Soldier class where you could use five weapons in your arsenal; heavy pistol, machine gun, sniper rifle, shot gun and heavy weapons like grenade launcher and some kind of nuclear weapon. Seeing that people say that this game feels like a third-person shooter, its the reason I choose this class but throughout my playthrough, I have only used the machine gun and the heavy weapons and simply avoided the other ones. Although, the Adrenaline rush and concession shot is quite useful, I only used my machine gun and the different types of ammo modifications plus the barrier upgrade that you purchased if one of your party members was loyal to you, maxing out it. The leveling system is a improvement regardless of the first one having experience everytime you kill someone and this one somewhat having it but I really haven't realized it.
Long story, short - I had already beaten this game, scanned most of the planets, did I think all of the side quests, had everyone loyal to me(one didn't by incident) and like Fallout 3, played hours and hours of it. The one exception is that one of my party member was ''accidentally'' not loyal to me - Miranda - it began after the loyalty mission with Jack and ended up with me deciding Jack over Miranda because I didn't had enough morality points to keep them both loyal. This pisses me off, despite having completed tons of side quests and traversing in conversations, boosting my morality points, I still have three and a half/ now four sections until full and that ''dispute'' screwed me over. That flaw is what I hated in this game ending up with seeing Miranda dead in the Suicide Mission and not getting an achievement and not seeing her weird looking ass and boobs in full glory. It's a sacrifice that I need to let to go because I had chosen Tali as my Paramour date and had loved her because her nervousness and the person who voiced her. Speaking of romance, Kelly haven't romanced and feed my damn fish even though I had talked to her like a chatty-cathy all day in the normandy. Speaking also of voice actors, there is an all-star cast like the likes in Red Alert 3 - with Keith David, Martin Sheen, Seth Green, Steve Bloom, Tricia Helfer , Mark Heer and Jennifer Hale and etc - four of those in the first one but you couldn't resist Keith David and Mark Heer again. It's just awesome to have an all rounded cast providing the PERFECT(no hyperbole here) experience with in the game, the dispute with edi and joker is just awesome, the amounts of love within your crew and especially Grunt always ending with the conversation with SHEPARD!, is totally the best line in the game and I want to keep on looping and dancing on top of my table!!!!
SHEPARD SHEPARD SHEPARD SHEPPPPPPAPRRRDDD!!!
SHEPARD! But I digress. SHEPARD!
I haven't put any spoiler so far but a little bit, The Illusive Man played by Martin Sheen is TOTALLY a evil person and his cyborg eyes is what I imagined him everytime I've
seen The Departed, ITS LIKE HE IS FROM THE FUTURE!
Sorry about that
The Suicide mission and the cutscenes before it, is totally too much of an action-packed movie - it feels like a better Armageddon with the space ship launching to the MOON and Bruce Willis having the climatic ending with Ben AlFeck awful acting. I simply drop the controller seeing that mind blowing cutscene before the whole Suicide Mission and seeing that I upgraded everything (only three things to upgrade) and the outcome of it is like Star Trek on steroids and a dash of Serenity makes the whole game of humourous dialogue and action-packed thrill ride. About Serenity, the whole part of the inspiration is probably on the fact that everyone on your crew is likable and provides alot of funny dialogue to be had. Especially Moridin singing Gilbert and Sullivan to excerpts from loyalty missions that made me lo and the fact that I had a wonderful time and not a denial is into it!
IN CONCLUSION IT WAS ADMIRE!
The other pick is Halo 3. Now I haven't played Halo since Halo 2 on the original xbox and that was only playing with my friends, 4/5 years ago on multiplayer on SPLIT SCREEN but regardless it was a experience to enjoy with pizza nights to endlessly play fighting after the match and not trying to suck at the game and embarrassing my friends on my level of suckiness. In addition, I had only played the first Halo in its entirely, seven years ago and surprisingly had beaten it on Legendary and saw that humourous ending with the ELITE TAPPING THE SERG"S ASS... YEAH TAP THAT ASS
YOU SAY GOODBYE AND I SAY HALO HALO HALO.... Playing Halo 3, the one thing I hate about the game is the controls - I feel that its too sensitive despite lowing it down, it is making me crazy on a level that I already picked Normal so it could be easy and it wasn't easy. There are parts like THE FUCKING FLOOD TRYING TO overwhelm me trying to climb to the ending where there is a climatic disposition of a betrayer and I seriously had to retry it over and over again and started to play it without playing like the traditional halo-playing style of running and jumping and avoiding. I began by keeping my distant in using my assault rifle and using some of the dropped flood weapons to compensate splash damage over their respawn drop surprise. Throughout the course of the game, Arbiter played AGAIN BY KEITH DAVID is allied with other elites and we kicked ass together and the energy sword sucks and the hammer is way better. Duel-wielding is kind of awesome when it comes to plasma rifles that are rarely seen in this game and common in others. I simply cannot forgot, there are deploy shields in this game that I rarely used it in that game and is probably the reason why I died
LOng story, short. I haven't gotten the Additional ending where Cortana and Master Chief is together alone on a space ship but its something that I need to replay it on a higher difficulty and the people on youtube are idiots to think that its on every ending. Although, I seen to find all ending of Halo, similar - in the end you always escape from the flood and aliens by running for your life. It's a cliche and that also is the flaw in the ending, of seeing these stupid ''running for your life sequences'', its annoying and I didn't like it at all!
That's the only games and THIS BLOG IS WHY I CANT WRITE PROEPERLY ANYMOORE!
Sersiouly, I most have writers block since I had wrote that wiki and it is also affecting my school work
You could totally see what character would be like based on this image and you will know when it happens in the game, their personalities and characteristics! The other games on that list I rejected because they suck and is boring.. like FF XIII. Two hours in and I was completely sleeping because of how boring and narrow of a game that you, Lightening and that stereotypical black person with an afro with a CHOCOBO on his afro and the FACT THAT THE RESISTANCE is totally comprised of civilans WHOM could rival the army who had experience and they are COMPLAINING THAT they don't want to fight and ACTING ALL ANIME to my face. THIS is why I hated the game to the point of ccompeletly shutting off my 360 and breaking it in half, the characters suck ass and I don't want to play the WHOLE DAMN thing to see WHAT AN AWESOME ENDING IT IS. SERIOUSLY, even 12 was enjoyable and it had tons of stupid things in it.
That's it, I'm not going to talk about FF XII anymore. its SIMPLY GONE!
ITS NOT, Goodbye sweet prince, may the angels sing out!
