The Elder Scrolls series often surprise me of how story and gameplay wise has crafted into something worth playing. From Daggerfall to Morrowind to Oblivion, I'm often addicted to continue on adventuring and killing fools and this RPG game. When they announced Skyrim, I was along with thousands of gamers who's excited and pumped to see the next Elder Scrolls game, Skyrim. The first few trailers/gameplay that there released pre-e3 was fantastic, utilizing a brand new engine along with a HUD, gameplay, interactions, 3rd person view improved and other new additions to this game and engine.  And of course what Elder Scrolls games would be without is the longevity of the game - breaking through approximately, 300 hours and more gameplay to get me in reclusion.

Sone of the beautiful scenery of Skyrim.
Now, I didn't really see the demonstration in Microsoft's Press Conference with Todd Howard talking about this but I got to see the GTTV demo of Skyrim. The demo they showed off is kinda liked the trailers/gameplay but not with a dragon - the character in that trailer is showing in the demo and the environments that was shown. What shocks me even though this is the demo that they are showing us is the light bloom graphical detail - in Oblivion, there are a bit of shine that compliments the graphics, it was like Mass Effect 2's shine but more brighter with making the world and characters more prettier.  Though without the light-bloom, the world and environments around your character looks invigorating and colourful, from the snowy mountains, tundra to the dungeons.

Dual wield fire spells to create a bigger fireball
According to Howard, you can custom your character to "be what you want" referring to classes/profession, abling you to change from a warrior to a battlemage. Also you could duel-wield spells or combine it into a powerful version of a spell which reminds me of Fable: The Journey and past Fable games in general without the "rail-shooter", the variation of spells whether single shot or AOE massive damage. This can help you in combat, you can use spells in your left hand and your main weapon in your other hand, making a strategic stance and abling you to finish foes easily. These spells are called shell-powers created by learning words which will unlock the ability to use them. More specifically, dragons are a big feature in this game who from dragon chant, you can unlock new spells and abilities for shell powers and emulate dragon's powers to harness into your abilities like dragon's breath.

Dragon Shout in effect (blue hue)
Also with shell powers, you can utilize "shouts" or spells ranging from a thunderstorm (AOE attack) to a stun spell, making everyone you create, a viking or something.  And of course dragons are your enemy as they can be off-scripted and can be a threat to you and the enemies surrounding like a hawk catching it's victim. Before you kill a dragon, you can perform a execution, just like in Dragon Age where it's the same scripted moment and your finishing it off. As I mention before, when you kill a dragon, you can absorb their words of power to unlock new abilities and spells which can use in combat. There are variations of dragons from fire to ice, both perspectively different and challenging from one another and more prevalent to creatures in the world rather than a boss in dungeons.

There is 150 dungeons in this game, hopefully unique and distinct to each other and not derivative and annoying to kill the same monster/bandit all over again. Stealth from previous Elder Scrolls games are in effect and looks like it stays the same. The HUD when you go in combat shows more indication, implementing a health bar in the top of your enemies' status and there is a "level program" which is probably like Oblivion and WoW where your attacks and professions(i.e heavy armor) will gain experience and level up shown in the indicator behind the enemies' health bar. Guilds are also returning with the typical mage, thieves and warrior guilds but with cool names, and I hope that they are more interesting to play with benefits to your character.

Skryim will be released in November 11 of this year and I really want to play this game now!
