Now, we all know that Infinity Ward was gone and Treyarch might be the only ones making the Call of Duty games. Thus, producing games that people somewhat hate because of Treyarch's way of stealing the engine from Infinity Ward and using it like Call of Duty 3 and World at War. Although I think that their games aren't half bad, the single player is quite good - in World at War, you could face the Empire of the Rising Sun and those scenes when the Japanese are ambushing are the most awesome scenes in the game. But the other game, Call of Duty 3 remains to be the worst because of the horrible controls and gameplay, although enlisting a storyline with the premise with opening cutscenes and characters that talk even more.

These few days, a source confirmed that Treyarch is going to another Call of Duty game - it was first speculated to be called Call of Duty : Vietnam but then changed the name to Call of Duty: Black Ops where it is presumed to set during the American occupation of Vietnam in 1955. Also the site went live when this was announced and the release date plastered in the site - 11.09.10 - which means this game will release on November the 9th in the 4th quarter of this year.  Furthermore, they had release a trailer for this - though it looks like its some sort of teaser, it doesn't look like Vietnam.

It is odd that Treyarch wants to make something out of Bourne series - it looks like you, the character in this game is recruited in the special forces and is being instructed by your instructor and then we see some weird looking astronauts which in fact,  hence the fact of the SR-71 Blackbird spy craft then some action which confirms me that my speculation was wrong and it will take place in modern-day Vietnam, seeing that there are 20th century weaponry being featured here and plus 2010 was hinted in the video. But at first, the video is too fast to see these things - making me think that Treyarch is trying to make something awesome but I had my doubts about that when the game launches. Though the voice in that video sounds oddly familiar or that I am playing to much Mass Effect 2.
