I have been extremely busy lately on work, school and helping contribute to this site so i havnt been able to really express my feelings on E3 last week. So sorry if this is a bit late.

Day 1. Nothing really interested me.. Microsoft talking about the 360 and w/e.. didnt really pay attention to it as i am not a 360 gamer.

Day 2. This was when the fun started to happen.. the first game that really interested me was fallout 3, i am a little fan of the first two games (granted i never completed either of them) so i thought it would be really interesting. The gameplay so far looks pretty good, FPS mixed in with the old combat system seems like it'll make for some interesting encounters. I still dont know if the story will live up to the original games but we can only pray. The second game that really interested me was Far Cry 2. I will admit that before E3 i really hadnt payed any attention to it but the stage demo at gamespot made the game seem really interesting. The realistic physics and weather system seem like it will make it like another Crysis. The guy demonstrated how the fire moves about the land if you catch a little patch of grass on fire, the game then went on with him blowing stuff up (exlosions look fantastic by the way) and killing people. Then after a few minutes the guy died in-game, i was expecting him to reload the game and show us more stuff than he planned but then he pointed something interesting out. One of your "buddies" comes in to save you, after a quick in-game cinematic you pick your gun back up, take the bullet out of were you were shot with pliers (very cool feature) and get back to the fighting. You then need to get out of there fast while trying to keep your buddy from dieing. He also made it clear that if your buddy dies, he will not come back. There are 7 buddies in total so i dont see how that will be a problem.

Day 3. Probably the most interesting day of the whole event. The first game that caught my eye was Crysis: Warhead, the demo went through like i thought it would, the guy talked about new features that were added such as improved performance, (yay) dual SMGs and more/better explosions (double yay). Other than that it looks like it wil be very similar to the original crysis, but that isnt really a bad thing. The second game of the day that caught my eye was spore. I have been waiting on this game for about 3 years now, They pretty much showed something they havnt really talked about yet and that is the tribal stage. The guy playing the demonstration started off by showing a new feature that they added, a little time line to show how much your creatue has evolved. He then went into tribal stage and started ordering his creatures to gather resources and building houses, he then visited a near by tribe and started interacting with it in a positive way. After he gained their trust however, he quicky launched an attack on the tribe and took it over.  The third game of the day that interested me was Dragon Age, my most anticiapted RPG. The guy showing the demo basicly explained that the game was going to be a PC game first and foremost, after that he  began explaining how their goal was to make one of the most emotional and best storyline ever made, he also showed that the game was a "spiritual succesor" to baulders gate. After that they showed off the combat system which really wasnt any different from nwn or baulders gate. The last game that i was sort of interested in was Mercs 2: World in Flames.. Only thing i am going to say here is nukes... the fact that you can call in a nuke any were and any time you want makes this a must buy for me :P. Of corse he went into much greater detail on the game but it just looks fantastic.

Day 4. Just a bunch of unheard of companies that didnt get to show their game in the first three days.. Pretty boring if you ask me. Far Cry 2 got an encore, the guy explained the other half to the gameplay during the night. He showed off a more stealthy approach to the same camp by marking guards on the map then taking them out .. seems pretty interesting because you have to actually plan out how you are going to attempt to infiltrate the camp before you even step foot inside.

Thats pretty much all that interested me at E3 this year. Hope you enjoyed reading and found out about a few games.
