The Dark Knight Reviewed NO SPOILERS

Alright for the first time on this blog I'm going to review a movie. That said movie is the Dark Knight. I will tell you this right now. It is the best comic book movie I ever seen and it is one of the best movies ever. I'm throwing this out right now, 5 out of 5 stars all the way. Christopher Nolan did such an amazing job with this movie. He made an unbelievable comic into a realistic almost horror-like film. For the first time since seeing Jurassic Park when I was 5, I was scared. This was definately not a Jack Nicholson joker, this was a psycho brutal realistic joker.

Christian Bale as Batman/Bruce Wayne Now to everyone else lol. Christian Bale reprises his role as Batman in The Dark Knight. Yes, he did a great job. BUt it's overshadowed by Heath Ledger. Christian Bale is known for going to the extreme for his characters. He pulled off the caped crusader incredibly well. In fact I think he may have beat Michael Keaton as Batman *GASP*. It took me a while to acknowledge it, but Chrisitan Bale is the best actor to portray Batman in my mind. He had his moments of brilliance and overall it was a great performance. Now for my favorite butler, Michael Caine is still the perfect choice to play Bruce's handyman butler Alfred. He just fits into the role so darn well. There's really nothing more to say but good choice Nolan. You know, I never really knew that much about two-face from the other movies so I couldn't really make too much of a judgement here. But I think Aaron Eckhart did a good job. Everyone else who was in this amazing movie did an amazing job. I couldn't have been more pleased.

Honestly I'm getting tired of typing this damn thing, But I need to give a nod to Christopher Nolan (The Director Guy). He really brought this whole universe to life in a way no one has done before. Like I said, this movie was a masterpiece and that was all with the help of this man. Oh and by the way, NOT A CHILDRENS MOVIE!!!!! It probably should have been rated R. There is so much innocent brutality, death, insaneness that kids will piss their pants. They mean it when they say Parental Guidance Strongly Suggested. Now I must get going, I have to go see this movie again and go buy the soundtrack(Which by the way is amazing and really drove the movie along). The Dark Knight clocking in at 2 1/2 hours gets 5 bats out of 5 from me. Have fun seeing this movie, you won't regret it. Adios.
