Argh. The most annoying thing happened all of 5 mins ago. Was coming out the shower and went to put on my glasses and noticed that the frame had 'popped' due to a loose screw at the corner of the glasses. Being short sighted, I couldn't find the screw anywhere - although the glasses were sitting at the sink, and I fear that the one screw that holds together my 20/20 vision has fallen to the depths.
Why is this significant? Well, fellow bombers, being the Easter holiday as of tomorrow I have to navigate my way into town myself today pretty much blind looking for the opticians, avoiding car-shaped blurs before they grow so large and in-focused as to reduce me to mush.
Moral of the story? When an optician asks, "Do you want a glasses repair kit, with extra screws with those spectacles, sir, for an extra £10?", never ever ever ever think 'Pfft.. I have a screwdriver that size and I'll maintain the integrity of the frames through routine maintenance and tightening and take my £10 elsewhere thank you very much!'.
So if I never post again, keep it smoggy.
