Mickey Mouse Club Quest Stats

Q-U-E, S-T Stats, graphs and numbers glee! ...I wish I could get that bloody song out of my head. I'm admittedly not a big fan of Mickey Mouse and his club, which is why it's somewhat ironic that I even beat Coonce to become club member #1 on Giant Bomb. I'm a shameful person like that. It's a shameful thing, lobster head, etc. Anyways, let's put some of that shame on display, shall we? This is...

This is attempt #2 at a 3,500 user threshold, this time without any videos to muddle the process. Will our efforts be epic, or will they fail like most of Disney's modern movies not made by Pixar?

Oh. Right. Our efforts were epic as fuck. Here's the final graph:

Mickey Mouse Club Final Progress The yellow line at the top was the 3,500 completion goal. The red line was the average pace we needed to exceed to succeed. The green line was our completion pace.

I don't know whether the quest set was simply that easy, if Mickey Mouse is simply that popular, or if quests are just becoming more popular, but damn, everyone. You all knocked this out of the park and then some. If this keeps up, 4,000's going to look like a feasible goal.

And now, for the numbers as of the latest graph update:
  • We successfully hit the 3,500 threshold at 5:25 PM EST on December 1st. That's 51.2 hours into the quest, with 81.6 hours remaining.
  • It took 72.5% of the day to hit our target. If that pace had continued, by this update I'd be praising us for 3,657 completions.
  • In reality, we've accumulated 3,552 completions as of this post. Once community quests hit the target threshold, they tend to go flat. It's understandable.
  • As of last night, we needed to exceed 4.18 completions per hour to succeed. Gee, I wonder if we surpassed that?
  • Our overall progress was 68.4 completions per hour. In the quest's final two hours, we averaged about 28 completions per hour. That's exactly the same pace from the last two hours before yesterday's update. I find that pretty impressive.
  • If our recent progress remained stable, even though it won't-...wait, it actually did remain stable this time. Well! If that stability continued for another 81.6 hours, we'd have the potential to accumulate 5,784 completions. I honestly doubt that number's possible, but certainly finishing this early creates a bunch of 'what if' questions.
  • The Pessimist's Estimation, assuming a 50% daily drop-off, thinks we could have hit the 4,100 mark with this quest. Again, I'm dubious, but it's an interesting thought, no?
  • With this success, Mickey Mouse Club becomes not only the second most successful quest in my history of quest stats, but the second most successful quest overall. It narrowly passed Next Class in the final hours, and remains topped only by the Grave Digger (or Team Meents, depending on which year we're taking our vague pop culture references from) of quests, X-Treme. Have a look at the comparison below.
Quest Comparison Graph as of Mickey Mouse Club I may have to start linking to a larger version of this graph, considering how crowded it's getting. In fact, here you go.

If you have any questions, suggestions, or criticisms, please don't hesitate to post in this thread and let me have it.

Thanks for reading, as always, and I hope you enjoyed these stats. I'll be back with more of this the next time a community quest shows up.
