Sarcasm aside, I like Bionic Commando Rearmed, despite its frustrating difficulty, and I assume its mustache-encrusted sequel with be more of the same goodness. Even if it isn't, I'm sure the Simon Viklund tracks will make up for any shortcomings.
That said, we've got a community challenge to undertake, and unlike Bionic Commando, it's online co-op! Let's see the graph.
Going Commando Final Progress The yellow line at the top is the 3,500 completion goal, the red line is the average pace we needed to exceed for victory, and the green line was our progress over the course of the quest. We succeeded! I'm amazed! But not really. You all did a tremendous job giving the universe of mustaches and Bionic Commando some respect. Another 3,500 goal is achieved, which is only a good sign for quests.
Our final stats:
- We finished this quest around 12:52 PM EST. That would be 92.8 hours in, with 38.2 hours remaining.
- We gained 118 completions today. That really doesn't mean anything, since we succeeded!
- As of yesterday, we needed to exceed 2.39 completions per hour to succeed. We needed 26.79 completions per hour on average from the beginning of this quest. Obviously, we had the need to exceed and succeed.
- Our overall average rate was 37.7 completions per hour. As of the last data reading, our final short-term rate was 24 completions per hour. You'll note the short-term rate was up from the last few days, which I think lends credence to my theory that the completion rate increases as we approach the goal.
- Our fastest pace was at the very beginning of the quest, with an incredible surge of completions that may have averaged over 1080 completions per hour. Our slowest rate was around 7:01 AM EST on February 4th, with a pace of 6.7 completions per hour.
- I've probably forgotten some other last-day stats here. I apologize in advance.
- Compared to other community quests, Going Commando finished in an uncharted area between Next Class and Space Oddity. Maybe this will make more sense with the comparison graph:

- These graphs look so much tinier on a widescreen monitor.

I'll be back the next time a community quest shows up with stats and all sorts of lovely numbers. Until then, I thank you for reading, and hope you enjoyed these stats.
