WAR HAS BEEN BROUGHT TO SUPER EARTH! - Helldivers 2 Heart of Democracy Update

The day has finally come. Super Earth has now come under attack and every Helldiver is calling to her aid.

Arrowhead's latest update has brought wave upon wave of Illuminates entering the very atmosphere of Super Earth itself. If that wasn't bad enough, they brought a tide of new weaponry capable of total annihilation. This comes as yesterday the last defences at New Haven collapsed now giving the enemy a straight opening to the ‘Heart of Democracy’.

So what is new in this very update? Well to my dear ‘Subnautica’ fans, you dread at the name and flee when it nears, the Leviathan has it all. Armed with plasma cannons capable of blasting your mech suit, these winged beasts hover across the skies destroying anyone and anything that treads bellow. In addition the so-called Great Host, took a pit stop at Mars reducing it to nothing but a scorch, a fire ball that was once known to be a training facility. Mother Ships have also been introduced, in an effort to control Super Earth, these behemoths beyond the atmosphere warping more ships from the belly the beast.

It is without a doubt that Arrowhead really out did themselves in this update, for not only do players get to see Super Earth for the very first time; but also it’s citizens as well. After all this is Super Earth we are talking about, and fellow helldivers can’t just go guns blazing with their orbitals, these civilians are helpless and need protection from all enemy invaders.

Of course it’s not all bad news, because amidst the ceaseless attacks from planetary invaders comes a brand-new faction, S.E.A.F.. Yes, ‘Heart of Democracy’ now introduces the Super Earth Armed Forces after being mentioned for so long but never seen until now. Unlike the helldivers, majority of them are conscripts, a home guard prepared to defend and die for democracy at any cost, and much like enemy factions they roam in numbers small and large. Along with them comes Mega Cities, a new set of maps similar to the city environments but on a much larger scale, taller buildings and brand-new activity involving a really big gun beneath a child’s playground.

However don’t expect it to be an easy ride in the park, as mentioned before helldivers can’t just go guns blazing with their orbitals, their super destroyers now need to re-position themselves. Possibly wanting to support with causing little to no casualties, the super destroyer now as to be more precise with their targets and will now be careful when bombarding a position.

So if you’re thinking about playing Helldivers, or just returned it to your library now is the perfect time play it. And while this article may seem like nothing but mere Super Earth propaganda, I can say that this update certainly cannot be missed out on.
