Now being a PlayStation player, I wouldn’t normally have a say in this affair, but I cannot just sit around while the Xbox community watch what they love be torn to pieces. Fallen short by poor management, Xbox indeed had a rough few years. Personally, it was rather shocking that they took down Tango Game Works for making Hi-Fi Rush, a critically acclaimed platformer mixing music with adventure. Nonetheless, Microsoft shut them down, anyway, setting the bar for profits over policy for making a brilliant game.

It’s getting increasingly difficult to trust Microsoft nowadays; in fact, this recent price rise could finally kill Xbox entirely, but it will come as no surprise if Microsoft doesn’t listen, or worse, create a new game to suddenly throw the devs in the gutter. That does not mean to say PlayStation is perfect, Sony themselves undeniably have their flaws, but being once tempted to get an Xbox myself…

It's pretty shameful, really, and I’m glad I never made that switch.
