Sorting the List

So I generated a huge list of games that I own and intend to play before I start making gaming purchases again (as per my last post). So I generated a huge list of games that I own and intend to play before I start making gaming purchases again (as per my last post). The problem with that list was that it was not sorted, and therefore I think if I started trying to put a dent in it, I'd get lost and give up. Therefore, I took a couple hours (yep) out to prioritize the list in two steps. First I assigned each game a number from 1 to 9 based on how soon I want to play it. This resulted in nine big lists, so I then assigned each individual list in the same way.

My rules are laid out in my previous blog post, but I want to clarify one thing with regards to this list. I am not forcing myself to go through it exactly in this order. The sorting is only a guide.
Immediate Plans
My immediate gaming plans are as follows:
First, I'm finishing up Shadow of Mordor and continuing to play Fantasy Life.
At this point, I'm planning to get the Platinum trophy for Shadow of Mordor. I like the game that much. I finished up the main quests and I'm nearing completion of all the side content. Then there are just a couple of "fun" trophies as well. The nemesis system in that game is just so ridiculously entertaining. It's the best open world game I've played since I played Black Flag over a year ago given that it takes some of the best combat and stealth of various open world games like Batman and Assassin's Creed and adds on the nemesis system (and, of course, Graug-riding).
I'm currently not allowing myself to purchase large-scale DLC under the same rules that don't allow me to buy new games, but given how much I am enjoying Shadow of Mordor, there's a good chance I'll dive in with the DLC (given it has decent reviews) once I hit my first purchase allowance in my plan.
I'm also almost done with Tales of the Borderlands Episode 1, so as soon as I'm done with Shadow of Mordor, I'll jump in and finish that.
Immediately after that, I've got two games in mind: Valiant Hearts and Dragon Age Inquisition.
Time to do this!
