Hello! Two years since the last post, but I'm back. I have still been playing actively and thought I should try this again. Writing about my impressions of games and hardware I come across. When I tried this the last time, I found that I fell off many games, resulting in little output. To avoid this, I might do some kind of weekly posts, to give updates about my progress. Plus I'll definitely r...

This apparently being my first post this year, HAPPY NEAR 2016! ^^ My thesis etc. have kept me really busy, but I've still been playing things as much as I can. Bought this game today. There is actually quite a lot to like here but as one Steam reviewer put it: "the optimization is almost worse than in Arkham Knight." But once I got the game running properly, it has been quite fun. I went to do...

Yo this car is WAAAAAY too small to move all these boxes. This happened when I was doing the some of the Proving ground missions and thought it was quite funny.

Rocket League Developer: Psyonix Publisher: Psyonix -I hardly ever pay full price for a game on Steam. This might have actually been the third after Bioshock Infinite and Cities: Skylines. And no regrets, I have constantly come back to this game over and over again. I’ve played this even more than Splatoon. I guess it’s just because over time as I have taken breaks from playing it’s much easier...

Haven't really been updating this blog because schoolwork has kept me busy, but this will certainly change in the summer. I ended up playing Amalur because I first tried the Witcher 2 but after trying a certain battle for an hour I was at a point where I just ragequit and installed Kingdoms of Amalur. Right now I'm around level 10. This was certainly not the first thing of this type to happen i...

Platforminers Developer: Magico games Publisher: Namco Bandai games So this might not be that popular of a game but I saw this come out sometime in the fall and I finally bought this during the christmass sale. A weird game since there isn't a lot there but I got weirdly addicted to this. -So as is evident from the name that this game combines platforming and not mining. well i guess if you cou...

One of my favorite game worlds to just spend time in. I'm quite excited about the recently announced sequel. This happened recently to me when I was just having some fun, liberating villages. And when the heat showed up, I started seing these strange red rays coming from the sky. Usually they only have simple laser sights...

Middle-Earth: Shadow of Mordor Developer: Monolith Productions Publisher: WB Games One fact about this game that if I had played this game through before I had made my game of the year list I would have put it a couple of positions lower because that joke of a boss fight. But I feel I am done with this game, but i'll probably go back once I get the Season pass. -As I mentioned in my Game of the...

I was watching random old Quick Looks, watched a quick look of that VVVVVVVVVV-game and realised I had forgottten how cool that game is. So then I went to the steam page to check the price ant the features and saw this. I' m just wondering who did this: is this Steams fault or is it the devs. Just thought this is kinda funny so here you go.

1. Premium membership I saw the ad for discounted premium membership and decided now's the time. Bought it mostly for the F1 podcast and those awesome Mario party videos. speaking of mario.... 2. BOUGHT A WII U I haven't owned a console for two years after my xbox 360. But I already have a pretty powerful computer so i saw no need for those more powerful consoles. I haven't owned a Nintendo con...

Was playing through career mode and in the 1st GP of Season 3 I wasn't paying attention to the radio chatter so I crashed into a slower car and then checked the replay :D

Dead Rising 3: Apocalypse Edition Developer: Capcom Vancover Publisher: Capcom It's been a long time since my last entry, but I just decided that i have to do it. Dead Rising 3 was a game that I preordered during the Steam Summer sale. (Btw, pretty excited to hear the news that Dead Rising 2 is switching to Steamworks.) · WANT A BAGEL - just the same amount of weird stuff laying around, just li...

Dead Island Developer: Techland Publisher: Deep Silver This is a game that i've had on my xbox, but I had only played to the end of the first chapter. And for some reason I had bought and played the Ryder White DLC. So better late than never. This was also a great warm-up, since I've pre-ordered Dead Rising 3 on Steam. So the game consists of four acts: 1st in the resort 2nd in the town 3rd in...

Titanfall Developer: Respawn Entertainment Publisher: EA So... I don't own Titanfall, because I don't like the fact that it is online-only. A few days ago I read that Origin has something called Game Time allowing you to play some games completely for free for 48 hours. I jumped at the opportunity and started downloading. Thinking maybe this will be the thing that changes my thoughts of Origin....

I decided that the best way to write something is to just post my notes from my playthrough. So this is the first one, i kind of enjoyed doing this so i'll try to continue this. Jazzpunk Developer: Necrophone Games Publisher: Adult Swim Games Great opening credits Really liking the cold-war setting. My first thought was that is the entire game some sort of dream as you have to take a pill to la...
