This game (and its sequel) having 90+ Opencritic scores is a joke. It's anime tropes the game. I couldn't even make it to gameplay. The introduction to the these characters was painful. Don't want to sink 100+ hours into Fortunes Weave? Play this game. It's on NSO and can be finished in 30ish hours if you turn off its clunky battle animations. Ike is the series' best protagonist and its not even close. He starts out as a naive country boy and grows into a literal social justice warrior.
