Well since a lot of people know or don't know Playstation has the Ps Classic and with such great games and all the nostalgia do they really hold up the test of time? Or were they only impressive as kids?
Well Front mission is the first of many retro reviews and I couldn't have picked a better game. Front mission 3 was one of the better Front Mission games and it holds up fairly well for a tactical rpg. Despite being over 10 years old it still has systems that aren't even used today. Such as a large amount of customization Different characters, Customize Wanzer with different arms torso and legs. Multiply types of weapons along with the ability to either duel wield either melee and range or double melee or double range, though restricted to how much the weight the entire Wanzer is.
Now the gameplay maybe what gets your started, but the story is what is gonna keep you going. A little like Metal gear with double crosses and twists not to mention a fleshed out story it's gonna keep you playing for the estimated 150 hour gameplay time! Now just to give perspective. Most recent FPS are about 8-12 hours.
Well for those who say."But why bother paying for this digital game when I can get new game with better graphics?" Well true the Graphics though are very good are a bit dated and there aren't many rendered cutscenes but for 5.99 for so a rich story and hours of gameplay that can kill you before you can finish it, what isn't to love.
