Bill Elliott's NASCAR Challenge is the first video game to be officially licensed by NASCAR, and for that fact alone I give it some credit. While the gameplay was nothing new back in the day, and it hasn't really aged well, it provides fond memories of my childhoold. The game only carried one real driver and a few real tracks, but the core aspect of NASCAR was alive and well within the game itself.
I remember, as does a good number of people I’m sure, growing up on the original Doom games back in the day so of course I picked this game up on LIVE not long after release. The game is just as we all remember it, and while some say the game play & graphics have not withstood the test of time, I completely disagree.
