Boo, Singleplayer

Battlefield Bad Company is a really strong multiplayer game, but that is all that it is.  The singleplayer may seem appealing at first glance, but the abysmal pace of the game will leave you struggling to find the energy to finish the game.
The multiplayer is really fun, but I am sure you can read about that in Mr. Gerstmann's solid review.  The singleplayer, however, is less amazing.  This is one of those games where you will be shot at from beginning to end, because the moment you start shooting, every enemy in the immediate area will not only know where you are, but start shooting at you and only you.  This wouldnt be so bad, if they missed every once and a while, but they seem to all be expert marksmen.  The heavy cloud of bullets may seem intimidating, but the game still isnt hard, due to the fact that you simply respawn at the last check point, but everyone you killed is still dead.  So basically the flow of the game is, get shot, either heal yourself or die, respawn, shoot a bit, then die again, and wait to respawn.  Basically, fuck this game on hard, everyone can beat it, but no one enjoys it.
