Joe Danger 2: The Movie2012

5 out of 5 stars

The original Joe Danger is one of the most renowned titles across PSN and Xbox Live, bar none. The orignal PlayStation Network title was a smash-hit, and beloved by Sony gamers worldwide. The game had charm, style, and the addictive quality of the retro games of old, with new twists. In fact, PlayStation gamers talked it up so much that Hello Games brought it to Xbox Live late last year with some fluff in Joe…

Halo: Reach2010

5 out of 5 stars

There aren't many franchises that can say they've done as much as Halo has. Without Halo, let's face it, the Xbox wouldn't have done nearly as well as it did, and the term "console-shooter" would have died with the Nintendo 64. With this being Bugnie's last Halo game, expectations are sky high, and fortunately for us, delivers on almost all fronts. Each kind of Halo fan will have a varying reaction to Reach. Some…

Green Day: Rock Band2010

4 out of 5 stars

Let me ask you something - Do you play Rock Band still? Do you even marginally enjoy Green Day? You should pick this up if you said 'yes' to even one of the two. Let's get right to what we all want to know - the set list. Green Day: Rock Band may give you "bang for your buck" if you're into Green Day. $60 will get you 47 songs, of which are all of Dookie, American Idiot and 21st Century Breakdown (minus the 21CB…

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 22009

5 out of 5 stars

One of the biggest game in video game history, Modern Warfare 2 has proven to be quite the titanic, and controversial games, we've seen in a while. Story Modern Warfare 2, oddly enough, starts off were Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare left off. Set in a near-future world, the Ultra-nationalists seize control of Russia and declare Imran Zakhaev, whom you killed at the end of CoD4, a martyr, having a statue of him in…

BioShock2007

5 out of 5 stars

BioShock came out in late 2007, but I feel I should share my thoughts on this titan of a game. It is definitely one of my favorite games of this generation - and here's why. Story In BioShock, you start out as a normal, every-day person named Jack, flying on a plane, reminiscing on how his parents told him that he was destined for greatness. But all of a sudden, Jack blacks out, and he wakes up below the surface of…

Rock Band 22008

5 out of 5 stars

Late and out of date, here's my review of possibly the biggest music game ever. The original Rock Band was nothing short of fantastic, but it had some apparent hardware - and software - issues that needed to be addressed. Needless to say, RB2 has fixed most of those issues. Rock Band 2 has the same formula of the last iteration for instruments. There's the Lead Guitar, Bass Guitar, Drums, and Vocals. Up to four…

Forza Motorsport 32009

5 out of 5 stars

Racing games, with a few exceptions, (Burnout, Mario Kart) have a somewhat niche audience focused on the graphical specs of the game and the amount of cars. Turn 10 tries to broaden the audience of racing simulators with a variety of new features and modes. Does it work? Read to see. You see, unlike other racing sims, Forza’s vehicles get damage performance-wise AND visually, which makes your damages clearly known,…

Super Street Fighter IV

5 out of 5 stars

Street Fighter IV came out early last year, and revolutionized 2D/3D fighters, as Street Fighter tends to do. As one of the highest rated games of 2009, Street Fighter was once again deemed the true "King of Fighters". Over 15 months later, many have tried, but none have succeeded in capturing Street Fighter IV's massive commercial appeal. Can essentially bonus content justify shelling out an extra $40? Well, to put…
