Batman Akrham Asylum is a amazing game. However, there is one glaring flaw in the game that removes an entire star from this review. The Bosses. Out of the many reviews I read it seems as though this problem is hardly ever commented on. The boss fights are just a bit to similar besides Poison Ivy, every fight seems exactly the same. The very first boss fight is a fight with a titan-formula injected guy. The second boss fight is with Bane. Who is basically the same as the first guy only now you just have normal enemies fighting you alongside him. The next boss fight is...with two of them. This trend continues through out the game and you always know what to expect from the boss fights. Even the final fight against...The Joker. Batman's greatest villian! Joker is infected with the titan forumla, sooo...the fight ends up being very similar to the past boss fights. Why isnt there a more diverse amount of bosses in the game? It just seems like a missed oppurtunity to merely have multiple bosses with such similar attack patterns. Of course, one has to look at the game as a whole and when one does they discover that despite this flaw Arkham Asylum is a great game. A game that deserves the accolades of praise that it continues to recieve.
