First of all, I'm reviewing the Gamecube version, not the PC version. 

This game is has a really cool idea. Sonic Team said, "Hey! Sonic is so fast, why don't we make him race?" Now you don't see many foot race video games around, but this one is a foot race, and a great one too! Sonic R is a very interesting game, with a wide variety of characters and racing paths, and easy controls. However, it has crappy graphics, and the turning really sucks. Overall, it's a good game that fans of Sonic and racing games should love.
