The better the more imaginative you can be

When i first heard about the game i went through a few phases;  sceptical - need - love - eager - purchased - Game opened, inserted into DS and switched on - joy - disappointment.

A simple and regardless to the experience of the player easy to start to the game you can either click the note pad (at the title / menu screen), type a Noun and then amuse yourself for as long as your imagination will allow. Or start the missions / puzzles and be eased into thinking outside the box to solve a series of simple, progressing over a larger then expected of stages to  be difficult tasks and collect the starite and 'oney to progress further rewarding you with bonus's for imagination or logical approaches.
- Cat Stuck on roof?
- call some ladders get your sprite to climb them pick up cat and collect starite
                - Ask for a Flamethrower and burn house down and watch cat jump of in fear to collect your reward
        - Build a series of well placed ramps and just walk up and get the cat down
                - Call a fireman and just let him do the job for you

Despite the premise of the game it is limited by your imagination and it soon became old after 2 or 3 plays became old, part of it is the realisation that despite the large vocabulary of words the actual sprites and characteristics of many of them remained the same, Power lead, Extension cable both looked and functioned the same (even worse when you type Guitar/ Bass / Acoutsic Guitar/ Acoutic bass) yet classed as separate items.
And that the game needs more refinement such as the character interaction is limited as you must point where you want your character to go and hope he does not mess with your hard work and planning to resolve the task at hand and the limitation of the amount of items you are aloud to call in at any one time.

My fingers are crossed for Scriblenauts 2 for the DS, Wii or at least a pc port where it would seem better fit (keyboard and mouse controls and possibility of user created content)
