The Most Broken Crystal Ive ever seen

Sonic Boom was an “ATTEMPT” to fully revive the Sonic Franchise once again however that’s not how this turned out to be. Unlike the Wii U version developed by Big Red Button this by far is the worst of the 2. Sonic Boom Shattered Crystal developed by Sanzaru Games feels more like a effortless project that was rushed to stores and failed to impress fans than rise of lyric, the game looks ok, the soundtrack wasn’t anything negative (just nothing memorable) and the different playable characters are nice but that’s all it has going for it. Shattered crystal’s plot structure is boring and too repetitive, the game forces you to collect these emblems to reconstruct the shattered crystal, the shattered parts of the crystal are separated in levels that you must explore and collect and it can get boring, very boring (and you have to collect them in every level). It doesn’t help that the level designs are painfully simple, the levels themselves feel unlively and bleak, and the rival battles are just racing to the finish that aren’t exciting (and this game has one boss fight) if you collect everything in the game, the reward is unsatisfying telling you just wasted your time. Getting all the crystals is the worst part of this game, it forces you to collect, backtrack, levels feel like they go on forever and it’s a drag, definitely not worth buying please stay away from this garbage, play the more polished, cleaner, better Sequel Sonic Boom: Fire and Ice.
