Birds of Steel2012

4 out of 5 stars

Birds of Steel is an amazing flight sim mixed with a aerial fighter game. I would have given it five stars, but it is lacking in some areas. But over-all, if you are seeking a great flight game for whatever console, this is the game to get. Birds of Steel is pretty amazing. It connects several genres of flight games and turns it all into a swirling story of flight and fight during World War II. There is plenty of…

Sid Meier's Pirates!: Live the Life2004

4 out of 5 stars

I picked up Sid Meiers' Pirates! for the Wii because I had filled my computer with too much illegal music to be able to play the computer versio anymore. Am I joking about illegal music? Most difinitely, but I have enough to be able to go three weeks without hearing the same song. As for the game, Pirates! for the Wii. I wish I could go a little bit more. If you have never played Pirates! and you own a Wii, then…

The Sky Crawlers: Innocent Aces2010

5 out of 5 stars

I know nothing of this series. Understand that from the start. But this game is excellent. I understand Giant Bomb's aversion to the Wii. It is a second hand videogame system. I am saving up to get a PS3. The games I have reviewed on the other systems are from using my friends' units. But this game is as good as the Wii gets... as far as graphics, story, and gameplay go. Innocent Aces is a manga based air combat…

Cursed Mountain2009

4 out of 5 stars

Cursed Mountain is a wonderful game for the horror genre. There is a well developed story and enough gameplay to keep the real gamer interested. As well, it is developed in a different way than any game available... while drawing from existing games. The story of Cursed Mountain lies in the Himilayas, where you are an explorer looking to save your brother. Your brother has climbed the sacred mountain of Chomolonzo…

Berzerk1980

4 out of 5 stars

What is to say about Berzerk? All I can say is my brother and I sat infront of my janky black and white TV for hours playing this game. I am not that old. My parents were just cheap. While everyone at school were telling the secret warp areas on Super Mario Brothers, I was wanting to tout my awesome score on this game. The time came when this game faded out of memory (I finally got my NES... and my brother got a…

FIFA 102009

4 out of 5 stars

I will state, up front, that I am not a fan of soccer. I love baseball and football, and watching soccer bores the crap out of me. I will also state that I have played baseball, football and soccer. However, you may note that I said watching soccer bores me. The playing of soccer is beyond my abilities unless speaking of the FIFA video game, and interests me to no end. For the Wii, this game provides a chance to…

Endless Ocean: Blue World2010

4 out of 5 stars

While I enjoy a good gamer's game, I am a working adult. Sometimes I need a come down from the shooting and mauling games, because I have enough frustration at work. Endless Ocean: Blue World meets those needs. The game is fairly free flowing. There are missions and timed goals, but you can simply choose to go float in the ocean and look around. Like I said, I enjoy a break from the destruction and such that most…
