Ratchet & Clank2016

4 out of 5 stars

+Stunning animation and vibrant world. +Lower frame rate than previous entries in series however it truly performs with heaps of adversaries and effects on screen. +Difficulty, weapon variety and low ammo count cater a hectic action-packed experience from start to finish. -Ham-fisted movie storyline provides nonsensical story and little context. -Clank missions are tedious and drawn out.

Destiny2014

3 out of 5 stars

+Gameplay and performance are solid. +Visual design: creatures, weapons, armour, environments all look very nice. +Sound design: Every exotic weapon, enemy grunts and different musical styles per adversary faction sound wonderfully distinct. +PVP: low/high levels can compete, map design, game-types. -Weapons/armour carry no value outside of PVP by the next content patch, upgrade system is tedious and time consuming,…

Knack2013

2 out of 5 stars

+ Neat tech demo: particle effects, reflections, nice lighting -Very basic combat. -Few enemy types. -Basic and repetitive level design. -Uncanny animation: realistic mo-cap with exaggerated cartoon-like designs is very jarring. -Goofy nonsensical story: flips between lighthearted and dramatic depending on whats necessary for the scene, makes for an overall poor and unnatural narrative.

The Order: 18862015

2 out of 5 stars

+Amazing visuals: especially for an early launch year game. Plenty of small details to pour over. +Acting and mo-cap/animation +Easy platinum? -Film grain, motion blur and low frame-rate can make gameplay sometimes disorienting -Run of the mill shooter: few enemy and weapon types, basic, linear level design. -Generally basic and uninteresting story/characters.

Gundemonium Recollection2011

4 out of 5 stars

+The better you play the harder it gets. Every level is broken into multi-tiered sections with different enemy/attack patterns depending on how well you play. +Multiple play styles: every character has different abilities, bullet pattern and speed. +Music: high tempo electronic music layered with orchestral and distinctly Japanese bits. -Some characters are definitely superior to others.
