Tiger Woods 09 delivers on many levels this year, improving on many small features that hampered the game over the past couple years. The addition of real-time swing feedback truly allows a player to fine tune their swing via the analog stick. The Career Mode gained a boost with the addition of Hank Haney in the 09 game. Players are allowed to work on their attributes by practicing shots they screwed up in the previous round.
The online games and challenges are fun and challenging, whether you are new to the series or a veteran. The GAMERNET inclusion continues to offer a sort of "achievement" system for players as well.
While EA has not announced any plans for DLC yet, one can hope that they add to the many facets of the game with a package of content. Courses, equipment and accessories are aplenty in the game, but hardcore fans of the franchise will want more holes in different locals.
All in all, an excellent game for fans of the series and one of the best TW in the franchise. If you've skipped over Tiger Woods the past few years and are thinking about purchasing this game - go for it.
