WELCOME HOME
In this latest installment to Silent Hill series, you play as Alex Shepperd, and you are on your way home.
Throughout the majority of the game you are looking for your younger brother Josh. Overall this game was a lot of fun, and there were a few scary parts.

KILL ME! IM AN UGLY MONSTER!
The monsters and creatures in Silent Hill: Homecoming look absolutely amazing. There are a wide variety of monsters in this crazy adventure. The boss battles are sometimes challenging, but after dying a couple times, you realize that all you have to do is repeat a simple pattern. One of the most surprisingly difficult people to beat are these small little nurses. You have to equip a very fast weapon in order to kill them. Sometimes you'll be walking with your flashlight on until you see one of those bad girls.

HAND ME MA "LOADED" SHOTGUN!
The weapons in Homecoming are awesome. I wish Konami would give you bullets for the dang guns but everything else is great. You have a variety of fighting weapons (Knife, Axe, Steel Pipe, etc.). Once you get your handgun you think you're going to have an easy time killing the monsters.......WRONG! Because killing enemies with your firearms are soo incredibly easy, you NEVER get any ammo for these weapons, AND I MEAN NEVER!
Later on in the game you finallly get a shotgun but when the cutscene finishes you only have FOUR SHOTS with it.

I THOUGHT I WAS AT HOME
All of the environments in the game look amazing! From the hospitals to hell....literally...hell. There are a bunch of challenging thinking games you must solve in order to move on. The level design is pretty good. Im glad that with this generation there doesnt have to be many load times (I remember Silent Hill 3, the game had to load every door you entered :P). Gosh, I love PS3 and 360!

HARD CHOICE
Honestly, if you're really into Survival-Horror games, you're going to LOVE Silent Hill Homecoming. It's a great game, and it's a lot of fun with your girlfriend sitting behind you. lol she was more scared then I was. With only two survival horror games coming out this fall (this & Dead Space), this is a great game to pick up! But with Gears of War 2, Fable 2, LittleBigPlanet, SOCOM: Confrontation, Resistance 2, Far Cry 2, etc. coming out this fall. This game should be on your back-up list.

Silent Hill: Homecoming is available on PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, and Windows.
