I don't care what other people say, I love this entry. Dark story, humor not as good as it's predecessor but still good, very interesting boss concepts, colorful yet dark scenarios, and it's just a solid Mario & Luigi game that doesn't deserve to be treated as "inferior" to its siblings.
This game is alright, he main highlight being the humor. On everything else it's just... okay. The battle system is simple and the story is okay. My only complain is that this game is way too easy, especially compared to the ones that came after it... But regardless, it's still a Mario & Luigi game which means you will enjoy it if you did with (almost) any other game in the series.
I loved the first two Mario & Luigi games, but they really screwed up with this one... The story is boring, the minigames sucked, the overworld is bland, the timing of the attacks during battle is awkward, and probably many things more I can't think of now. I was a huge fan of Superstar Saga and, especially, Partners in Time, but this one... Just no.
