Instead of a proper review, i'll just list pros, cons, and then my final thoughts.
Pros
-Enjoyable, fast fighting
-Characters are pretty diverse
-Great cell-shaded graphics and animation
-Some excellent cutscenes
Cons
-Some of the cutscenes in story mode are recycled
-Alot of content from anime is missing in the game (E.g: characters, costumes, and especially cutscenes)
-The drama pieces and "burst" mode sequences slow down the pace of the game and get quite annoying after a while
-Not alot of replay value in offline
I left out online multiplayer on the lists as that experience depends on your connection and the person you are playing.
Overall, not a bad game, but not amazing. I would have much prefered them to do what CyberConnect2 are doing with Naruto Ultimate Ninja Storm; keep the same combat mechanics as the previous games, but move them into a 3D open arena. But my score may also be due to my wavering interest in DBZ...and wavering is putting it lightly. I used to buy DBZ games on launch...except for Budokai Tenkaichi 2 and 3...man were those bad. So this will probably be the last DBZ game i'll get, ever. I finally realised with this game that DBZ games don't interest me as much as they used to...it's been a nice run, but i think it's over for me.
EDIT [DEC 2015]: SO HEY I BOUGHT THE LATEST DBZ GAME, IT'S PRETTY GOOD. ALSO DBZ IS PRETTY GREAT.
