This game is pretty straight forward in just about every way imaginable. With the three storylines consisting of Peter, Brian, and Stewie's all pushing you through Quahog in their own stories, they vary up the repetitiveness of each story mission (no matter what the character). Peter's story has the player go through various levels with a pretty basic beat'em'up style formula. Brian's story has the player go into a stealth mode style of play which is to say: trying to traverse rooms without being spotted by "enemies" in the area. Stewie's story is by far the most fun which puts the player into a third-person shooter storyline where there's a bit more fun to be had blasting enemies with a ray-gun.
The graphics are cel-shaded and give the game a unique look and it's obvious it was done out of fun in an almost over-the-top way to almost make it the game appear cheesy. The one truly noteworthy thing about the game are the mini-games which are plopped in to add a bit of extra something for the fans who will appreciate them when they see what they are. The sound is okay overall but nothing that stands out as particularly exceptional. The game as a whole is pretty basic and for fans of the franchise it's worth picking up (granted that's as long as you don't pay more than $5 or so for it) and with its' series tie-ins it's bound to give fans a dabble into the franchise they know and love.
