Sequels to successful games come in two ways, they either revamp an existing formula or they do exactly what the previous entry did. Ghost Recon Wildlands is yet another entry into Ubisoft's "online shooter with the Tom Clancy name" genre, and although it has a lot going for it, it has just as much working against it. Guacamelee! 2 flew right under my radar. The first one was a pleasant surprise and one of the best platformers in recent years. With it's absurd tone, gorgeous visuals, and satisfying mechanics, it hit all the right notes without overstaying its welcome.
