Just a list of games that I'm currently "focused" on.

Super Mario 3D World

Super Mario 3D World

With a Switch port incoming, it's about time we Com-PETE-d this one, yeah? Going for all stamps - which means every character, every level. Given the fact that I haven't beaten Champion's Road with *any* character, I dunno how feasible this is :}

Quake II

Quake II

Currently the oldest game on my backlog (if I Com-PETE this, it'll shift the average age of my backlog 24 days younger)! I'm pretty sure I did Com-PETE this (all kills, all secrets, all difficulties) back in the day, but the lack of forward-compatibility with gamesaves leaves me with no proof; currently using Yamagi Quake 2, which should provide the future compatibility. And... it's still okay. I was never a *massive* fan back-in-the-day (much preferring Q1 and Q3), but it's appropriately dumb and fun.

BioShock 2

After blustering my way through the original game, it felt appropriate to leap into the sequel... and initial impressions are not kind. Wasn't this highly regarded back-in-the-day? So far, it feels solid, but lacks the finesse in world-building that was so successful in the original.

Vanquish

Vanquish

An effervescent - and more enjoyable - palate-cleanser when paired with BioShock 2. The visuals are quite silly (in a good way), as is the narrative (in an appallingly bad way).

BioShock Infinite

BioShock Infinite

I'm loving my return to this on the PS4. I think my memories of my 360 playthrough suffered from its proximity to Spec Ops: The Line, which is chalk-and-cheese when compared to Infinite in terms of ludonarrative dissonance. So far, I'm having a blast - it's *way* more fun than BioShock 2, and much more approachable than the original BioShock.

Yakuza 0

Yakuza 0

My first Yakuza. Erm... this is... verbose?
