Grapple Dogs: Cosmic Canines

1. Grapple Dogs: Cosmic Canines

Fun sequel, enjoyed the second character they added with shooting mechanics.

Star Stuff

2. Star Stuff

Really neat programming game. I think this is the first one I have come across where you have a player character that gets to perform actions while your code is executing. So you have to think about how to interlace your own actions with the actions your programmed robots are carrying out. I found it to be a novel entry in the genre.

Prodeus

3. Prodeus

This game just has such a cool visual style, I love it. And it gets all the FPS basics down as well.

Wavetale

4. Wavetale

Digseum

5. Digseum

cool little incremental/idle game. I tend to like these sorts of games when they are shorter and more focused (see Nodebuster from last year)

Antonblast

6. Antonblast

Someone really loves Wario Land 4, and I'm all here for it.

Death of the Reprobate

7. Death of the Reprobate

The final entry in Joe Richardson's trilogy of cheeky Renaissance art point and click adventures. As with the others, very funny and very enjoyable.

Gori: Cuddly Carnage

8. Gori: Cuddly Carnage

The Punchuin

9. The Punchuin

Neat puzzle/platformer hybrid, reminds me a bit of Henry Hatsworth on the DS.

Arzette: The Jewel of Faramore

10. Arzette: The Jewel of Faramore

Much more competent platformer than I expected, figured it would just lean on the CD-i gimmick, but it nails that as well as being actually fun to play.
