by slowram

So far slow year, suspect that will change, if not oh well they can't all be 2025. Back loaded year.

Too cute, can't resist, plus cherry on top it's a fun game with an interesting story.

Onimusha: Way of the Sword

2. Onimusha: Way of the Sword

Fun action game, great facial animations. Great use of accessibility options. I appreciate the one letting me know button prompt if needing to dodge or parry soon, with that able to leave it at normal difficulty.

Resident Evil Requiem

Resident Evil series keeps releasing quality games.

Palworld

It's proof to how enjoyable this title is, as this is the ONLY survival game I've sunk more than 2 hours into. Not a fan of the genre, but this one has so much going on and automations to keep me going forward.

Mortal Shell II

5. Mortal Shell II

HUGE improvement, best sequel ever. I enjoy imagining the next release from this studio assuming it's as large an improvement.

Mio: Memories in Orbit

6. Mio: Memories in Orbit

Only 2026 released game I've played so far this year (as of start of February). I like it, good Metroidvania. Don't know if it will stick around the top 10 though, depends if year picks ups.

Code Vein II

I would enjoy this game a LOT more if it had fewer systems/calculations. I feel like I need to look at all my options to optimize my damage, but don't enjoy that. The gameplay is fun. The number of systems and stats is overwhelming.
