This was going to be a top 5 list, but since I got an Oculus Quest 2 for Christmas, I had to expand it.

Personal favorite that I played this year.
I fucking hate myself... But in all seriousness, despite the outright farfetched and overtly-fantastical storyline and setting, Blizzard have really delivered a polished product with excellent environment and diversity with one of the best soundtracks in any WoW expansion. It feels like they finally got the end-game right, with interesting Covenant questlines and progression, the rogue-like Torghast dungeon crawl, fun and engaging mythic dungeons, and as solid first raid. There is an excellent range of end-game content with a well-balanced scale to enable solid progression whether you're a casual scrub, like myself, or a hardcore mythic raider/top 1% PvPer.
One of my first experiences with VR. I fucking love the Half-Life universe. This did not disappoint in its writing and dialogue. It has that classic Valve dusting of humour, horror and awe. The movement mechanism and gun-play feels very natural and immersive, though granted this was my first foray into a major VR release and I don't have much to experience compare to.
