So, I'm trying to get into reviewing more games, and having started with WET and gotten some responses from the community, it made me aware of the fact that my opinion on games won't mean much if people can't relate to what other stuff I like. To be able to understand why I like a game you need to know what games I've liked in the past. It's why I read Giant Bomb reviews and take their info on board, I've been reading reviews by guys like Jeff for years, and so now have an understanding on things about games that we have in common, and so I can take more from his reviews. If that makes anysense.
In short, so you can get a better understanding of games I'll review, here's a list of games I like.

PS3 - Why I like it: The story, the cutscenes and the characters. The gameplay itself was very God of War lite to me, but Nariko and Kai were awesome.
PS3 - Why I like it: Big Metal Gear fan, so liking this was a given, but that fact it let me go stealth OR run and gun made it a real stand out. I also loved the story and cutscenes to death, but they did seem to drag out some stuff.
PS3 - Why I like it: Awesome level creator and customisation.
PS3 - Why I like it: Amazing art style, great characters especially for a unit focused RPG and just a wonderfully unique game to play.
PS3 - Why I like it: I was a massive fan of the first Uncharted, and the second just did everything better. The game plays great and fluidly, always having you doing something awesome, and the story pushes you along, and it kept me engaged the whole time. All the characters were belieable and filled out too, and Nathan Drake is quite possibly my favourite character of all time. If I'm honest, Uncharted 2 may well be my favourite game of all time just because of how well it combines so many things I love from great characters, to that Indiana Jones sense of adventure and thrills.
Wii - Why I like it: I know it's not technically a Wii game, but it IS the best version of RE4, combining the crisp look of the Gamecube version with the added content of the PS2 version. It also stands to date as my personal favouite use of the Wii's controls in a traditional style of game.
Wii - Why I like it: Nintendo at it's best, doing what they do better than anyone.
Wii - Why I like it: Travis Touchdown is awesome. Doesn't hurt that I like running through tonnes of enemies and hacking them to death. Shame about the open world stuff, but with a game oozing this much personality, I'll let it slide.
Wii - Why I like it: Washington: Are you ever gonna tell me what that ****ing G stands for ? Agent G: No Overkill made me laugh, and that's always a winner. Add to the mix a solid light gun shooter and a good use of style and I'm game.
Xbox 360 - Why I like it: Big fan of Fighters since Street Fighter 2 on my SNES. Since my Saturn days Dead or Alive has always offered a solid fighting game that's not taken too much to become good at, which is great. It also has some really fun characters. Good characters always draw me in.
