October is relatively quiet for the next ten days. That silence will be broken with the arrival of Middle-earth: Shadow of War on the 10th, followed quickly by South Park: The Fractured but Whole the next week on the 17th. Destiny 2 finally gets its PC release on the 24th. And then there is the triple threat on the 27th of Assassin's Creed Origins, Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus, and Super Mario Odyssey.
Six massive games all coming out within the span of less than three weeks. It's a dizzying prospect, especially when I'm still trying to complete earlier releases from this year. Therefore, I need to be diligent and get through the following list of games by October 10th.

(PS4) I have about nine hours in this so far. I believe it's somewhere around 20 for the main story (and that is all I am doing), so I'm a little less than halfway through it. I really just need to buckle down and put some serious time into this game.
(Switch) I'm in world 3 now, and things are starting to get tough. I'm concerned that if I put this game down, I will have a tough time coming back to it. But I can only play it for maybe an hour or so at a time, so I'm not feeling confident I'm going to be able to finish it.
(PC) I've only just started this game, but since it is DLC, I'm guessing it's only a few hours long. How Long to Beat has it at seven for the main story, but I really like this series and want to do all the side stuff, which adds another four hours.
(PC) Played about an hour of this. It's really tough and I think it's designed with the idea you will fail multiple times as you learn the bosses' patterns. It's fun, but like Mario + Rabbids, it's a game I can't play more than an hour at a time.
(PC) Just bought this and have not played it yet. From my understanding, it's less than a few hours long, so I should be able to get through it in an evening.
(3DS) Just made it to area 4. I typically play this at lunch since it's on a portable, so it shouldn't interfere with my console/PC games.
