This was a year that I tried to get through most of my backlog. I did pound out a huge chunk of it, but that didn't get me caught up by any means. It doesn't help that there's so many fantastic games coming out back to back.

This feels like a bit of a cop-out, putting the remake of one of my all-time favourite RPGs in the top spot on my list. However, the subtle improvements, and expanded story beats more than make up for that- This feels more like an extended cut of what the game should have been from the start.
I'll probably never beat this game. I'm okay with that. It's so much fun that I don't care.
The superb hand-to-hand combat of the new Batman mixed with a gritty Hong Kong action flick.
With a veritable Who's who of DC characters at your disposal, this game had me roaming the streets of Gotham for far longer than I thought it would. An improvement in every way over its predecessor.
I had much more fun than I thought I would with this one.
Essentially an anime with some interactive bits. But god DAMN if this wasn't one of the most glorious things I've seen.
Some good, dumb fun.
